What I loved:

I had so much fun with our Dog Lover, even though I’m a CAT lover myself :)! She took me to a special temple on a lake that I’d heard about for years but never been to. I didn’t know the name — somehow she just knew. It was just as spectacular as I’d heard and she patiently waited while I took tons of photos. It was also thanks to her that I discovered the fun of visiting coffee plantations in Bali. Having done so in India, and not been particularly excited by it, I was avoiding it in Bali. Thanks to this TravelDriver’s gentle coaxing, I found that I LOVED visiting these places, where they show you all the tropical plants and how the seeds and flowers become various edible elements. PLUS, the tastings are so fun. This one featured about 16 drinks — coffees and teas. An added bonus was that they had a giant swing and jungle path to get there. This was one of my favorite experiences on this trip!
