Yes there are tons of taxi drivers in popular tourist areas competing for your patronage, and now Bali even has something like Uber, but that's a whole different game. The drivers of traveldrivers.com are more like the best tour guides one could possibly have. They do not push you to go places you don't want to go just to get you to spend money (which is a typical ploy of many taxi drivers). Plus, you don't have to haggle with them for price, which is a huge relief. I felt especially comfortable because Janet went to quite some effort to find me a driver for that day because it was a Balinese holiday and many of them were not working. My driver was very kind and her car was immaculate. Her English was good enough to learn some valuable information and get some insight on a local's point of view. We recently used Travel Drivers during a trip to Portugal and it was definitely one of the best days of our trip. Our driver was professional, yet friendly and personable and after spending the day with him it was bittersweet saying goodbye. We spent time in Lisbon and then drove out to Sintra and Cascais . We had many stops and learned lots of lovely information. I would recommend them to all my friends who love to travel. This is such a great way to see and experience new cities/towns for such a reasonable cost. We all loved it and were truly pampered by this experience.

We decided to try traveling with a private driver on our recent trip to Southern Italy.
